Corrado Bonifazi is a demographer, director of research and head of the research unit on 'Migration studies and spatial mobility' at the IRPPS. Since May 2002 he is chair of the EAPS working group on 'International migration in Europe'. He has been project leader in various research projects on international and internal migration. He is the author of numerous publications in this field.

Dr. Frank Heins

Frank Heins is a geographer, a senior researcher in the IRPPS. In the past he worked as a statistician in the UN Statistical Office. His research projects focus on regional aspects of demographic and socio-economic structure and change, regional mortality patterns, inter-regional migration and regional population projections. He is the author of numerous publications in the field.

Dr. Dante Sabatino

Dante Sabatino holds a PhD in sociology and is a researcher in the IRPPS. His research focuses on analyses and study on female immigration, welfare models and immigration, migration policies, new internal and international migrations.

Dr. Mattia Vitiello 

Mattia Vitiello holds a PhD in sociology and is a researcher in the IRPPS. He is the author of several publications focused on analysing the causes of migratory movements and the relationship between migration and development; analysing immigrants' living conditions and their dynamics of incorporation in the host countries; studying the phenomena of social inclusion and exclusion, included the phenomena of deviance and criminal behaviour. Dr. Swanie Potot

Swanie Potot is a sociologist, specialist on trans-European migrations. She did her PhD on Romanian working migrations through Europe in 2003 and has published several articles on this subject. She has conducted fieldworks on Romanian migrants in France, Spain and UK and has studied the migrants' living conditions in Romania. She has analysed the place and role of women in these mixed migrants networks. Being permanent researcher at CNRS since 2004, she is coordinating a research team on migrant labour in agriculture in France in the framework of a three years program (from January 2006), receiving funds from the French Agence National de la Recherche.
